Baticine is our sister building in our endeavor for the preservation of the archive. Baticine is named for the first Mexican Bat Woman, Maura Monti, our ever hopeful symbol in the battle for film preservation. Here we screen films new and old to share with the public. We often show art films in addition to popular films. We frequently invite directors, actors, actresses and composers to come to a presentation of one or multiple of their films. By charging for films we screen we are able to pay for rent for the building and support our work with the archive. Check out our Facebook page for more information.
